In graduate studies at the University of Oregon, I applied principles of high performance construction to projects focused on building community and supporting healthy urban environments. In my thesis work, I developed a cohesive vision for the redevelopment of the Broadway Corridor and furthered this vision with the design of a family inclusive housing tower and early childhood development center.

With a background in construction, I am comfortable discussing details of building enclosures, passive interventions, and active systems for a successful project. I have experience building to LEED, Passive House, and Living Building Challenge standards.

In volunteer positions, I take on leadership positions to foster community building opportunities. I am especially interested in supporting interdisciplinary conversation and outreach events that bring community members together with those in the design, engineering, and construction industries.

I am currently studying to take the LEED Green Associate exam as well as working with the Portland Green Schools Committee to develop community service projects and educational events. I am excited to work in a culture that values community relationships and a collaborative approach. I look forward to continuing to build strong connections and create healthy environments.
