Description

Hennebery Eddy Architects seeks a mid-level interior designer with 4-10 years of relevant interior design experience and demonstrated success integrating interior design with architectural projects. This collaborative individual will be a member of integrated project teams, working with project leaders to execute conceptual designs, presentations, design development, and construction documents.

 

Responsibilities

  • Participate in programming, space planning, selection of FF&E, color palettes, material presentations, project documentations and generate specifications.
  • Assist in managing client expectations, team communication and consultant coordination.
  • Flexibility to focus on a single client with a variety of project types, or multiple, concurrent projects in various stages of development.
  • Contribute to office culture, initiatives, and learning programs.

 

Qualifications

  • 4 to 10 years of relevant interior design experience and success integrating interior design with architectural projects.
  • Working knowledge of furniture, finishes, materials, specifications, and building codes.
  • Programming and space planning skills.
  • Advanced design, visual, and graphic presentation skills including hand sketching ability.
  • Proficiency in the use of 2D/3D software, including Revit, Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Interior Design or related field from accredited school.
  • Collaboration skills and ability to work effectively with clients, consultants, contractors, and jurisdictions.
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills.
  • LEED Accreditation.
  • A minimum of three references, two of which must have been clients.

 

Additional Desired Qualifications

  • NCIDQ Certification.
