AIA Portland Committees are open to Members and Non-Members, unless otherwise indicated.  Only Members may vote on or serve as chair for a committee. 

Committee for Architecture in Education
Committee on the Environment (COTE)
COTE is committed to education Professionals and the publict on sustainable design issues and supporting an agenda of envionmental sustainability.  We encourage collaborationwith various public and private agencies and organizations.  Our belief is that design excellence can only be discussed within the context of sustainability.

Emerging Professionals

Fellows (awarded by elevation through the organization)

ForWARD
The Forum for Women in Architecture and Related Design provides a neutral supporting space for the diverse community of women involved in the built environment to network across disciplines, explore design related interest, and mentor one another.

Historic Resources
The Historic Resources Committee aspires to inform the chapter and the public-at-large on issues relating to historic preservation and resources.

Small Firm Roundtable
An open forum for sole practitioners, principals, and employees of small firms to exchange information, ideas, and resources.  Monthly meeting may have guest speakers, roundtable discussions, or field trips focused on a topic of itnerest.  Some programs will award continuing education credits.
