About A+D:09

We invite you to join us for the first annual Portland Architecture + Design Festival. This is a month-long festival for the entire city, from design enthusiasts to design professionals, policy makers to homemakers, students to senior citizens. Join in walking and bike tours, film screenings, lectures, art exhibitions and other design events. Connect with your community and explore the issues and ideas that are shaping your environment. The Portland Architecture + Design Festival, A+D:09 is presented by the American Institute of Architects Portland Chapter and the Center for Architecture, in collaboration with many of Portland's finest arts and culture organizations. Partner organizations include the American Society of Landscape Architects, Architecture Foundation of Oregon, Portland Art Museum, Portland Center Stage, International Interior Design Association, Mercy Corps, Bosco-Milligan Foundation, Street of Eames, and Portland State University.
